USCA Race Start Time 1:15pm Course:

Trailhead Park to Deer's Mill

The race is a distance of 12 miles.  Racers must first check in at Clements Canoes Outdoor Center no later than 12:00 Noon.  Free shuttle to start of race will leave at 12:00 noon.  Pre-registration is available which will make check in easy and save you $10 per person.

Rules:  USCA boats under USCA rules and point system. Pro-boats (3x27) can run in the cruiser class.  Participants must sign waiver of liability, have a USCG approved life vest and whistle. 

Awards at conclusion of race at Clements Canoes Outdoor Center.

 

Recreational
Canoe Race

Jim Davis Bridge to Deer's Mill

The recreational race is a distance just short of five miles.  Racers must first check in at Clements Canoes Outdoor Center by 9:30am   We will be shuttling everyone to this location and will leave at 10:00am.  Pre-registration is available which will make check in easy and save you $10 per team. 

Don't worry if you don't have a boat - canoes and kayaks are included for each racing team.

Rules: These races are not under the USCA point system and boat max length is 18.5' - aluminum, plastic, fiberglass etc.  All boats propelled by a double blade will be considered a kayak. All canoe/kayak racers must have approved PFDs and must have a signed waiver.  Participants under the age of 18 years old must have a parent or guardian's signature on the waiver.

USCA Racers and Recreational Racers:  Entry form, payment and signed waiver must be received by April 26, 2008 to qualify for pre-registration rate.
