Trip 1  -  Upper Whitewater Trip

The Upper Trip starts with a shuttle from our livery (point 7 on map) at Deer’s Mill Covered Bridge to Crawfordsville (point 1 on map).  You’ll paddle between narrow channels, around large rocks, along shale bluffs, past historical landmarks, and through Pine Hills Nature Preserve.  Pack a cooler for a picnic, try your luck at fishing, hunt for fossils and Indian relics, or see if you can catch a glimpse of a Bald Eagle.  After 15 miles this paddle ends at our livery (point 7 on map).   Depending on water level this trip typically takes *4-6 hours.
*DEPARTURE TIMES:
Mon. – Fri. 9:30 AM; Sat., Sun. and holidays 8:15 AM and 9:30 AM.
Must register 30 minutes prior to departure time.

Trip 2 Lower Scenic Trip
The Lower Trip starts at our livery (point 7 on map) at Deer’s Mill Covered Bridge and meanders through Shades State Park and Turkey Run State Park.  You’ll float through deep canyons, beneath historic covered bridges, and maybe catch a glimpse of a Bald Eagle.  Islands and beaches offer serene spots for picnicking, and looking for fossils and Indian relics.  Winding through the heart of Parke County Covered Bridge Country, this trip is, no doubt, the most scenic in the Midwest.  After 15 miles the trip ends at Cox Ford Covered Bridge (point 11 on map).
Depending on water level this trip typically takes *4-6 hours.
